How to order

You will need to be patient …

PLEASE NOTE: We currently have a waiting list of 3 months so please email us at talktothehand@anenglishhand.uk if you are really keen and are prepared to wait. (It’s worth it, we promise!)

We want you to have a jacket that you love to bits, one that is your go-to, one that makes you feel great.

So in the first place it needs to fit, the sleeves and the jacket need to be the right length and proportion for your body and the jacket the right volume. So this is why we ask for several measurements and even some photos so we can judge what will be perfect for you. (1st week)

If you are very close to our standard measurements we will send you a sample to try on. If you are different, and most people are different, we will also send you a toile cut to your personal measurements for you to try on. Either way you will return these to us with your comments and photos (again) All postage paid by us. (2nd-3rd week)

Then we will incorporate your special wishes, order the main jacket colour, lining colour, inside pocket variations, button colours (real horn), stitching details etc. (4th week)

Then we can begin to cut and make the jacket, this takes another 2 weeks (4th-5th week)

Finally we will send you the finished article in about the 6th week.
