The Hebridean is a softly tailored jacket for people who understand the functionality and confidence a well cut jacket can give, but who want the informality and understated elan of a contemporary approach to tweed.
We have developed a generous cut and soft, almost invisible structure that allows you to throw on the Hebridean as though it were a cashmere sweater. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. It is half-lined not only to reduce weight and be cooler but also to expose the craftsmanship of its manufacture.
The sleeves are lined in traditional striped sleeve lining so the jacket is easy to put on and the seams are bound with the same Viscose Ermazine taffeta lining that the best Savile Row houses use on their bespoke suits.
We have French Navy and Charcoal available in our standard sizes of 38” to 44” but what we really relish is the personalisation of made-to-measure. This does take time, it is slow fashion after all, but please refer to our Custom page for details of what we can do for you not only in lengths and sizing but also in detailing.
Every Hebridean we make will be unique to your requirements, hand cut and finished with a lightweight floating hair canvas chest piece and a linen canvas collar interfacing. Please note no fusible interfacing has been harmed in the production of this item…
